About the Role
We are seeking a
Civil Engineer
to support our client onsite in
La Mesa, CA . The ideal candidate will bring
10+ years of civil design experience
with a strong background in
water resources, hydrology, and stormwater design . This role will focus on delivering high-quality engineering solutions for a mix of
public and private sector projects , including work with
school districts, utilities, municipal agencies, and federal clients .

local San Diego County and California regulations .
Key Responsibilities Manage, design, and draft civil engineering plans using
AutoCAD and Civil 3D Lead
stormwater and hydrology design , including modeling and analysis Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards Prepare calculations, technical reports, and documentation for permitting and updates Coordinate with stakeholders, agencies, utilities, and internal team members Stay current with San Diego County and California requirements for
water resources and stormwater management Requirements
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering 10+ years of civil design experience Proficiency in
AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software Valid
California Driver's License Ability to pass a federal background check (Live Scan) Strong technical writing, communication, and problem-solving skills Preferred:
EIT or Professional Civil Engineering (PE) License Experience with public sector clients such as
San Diego Unified School District, U.S. Navy, SDG&E, or the City of San Diego
