We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented
Director of Pricing & Revenue Integrity
to lead revenue optimization efforts within our background screening organization. This role is pivotal in driving pricing intelligence, maintaining pricing integrity, managing customer-level pricing strategies, supporting large-scale RFPs, and auditing revenue to ensure accuracy and compliance.
You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Legal, Product, and Customer Success teams to establish and enforce revenue policies and processes that enable sustainable growth, improve profitability, and deliver consistent customer value.
Pricing Strategy & Studies
Conduct competitive pricing and market analysis to guide data-driven pricing strategies. Develop pricing models based on service tiering, volume, complexity, and customer segmentation. Monitor and assess pricing performance and recommend adjustments to maximize margin and revenue. Price Desk Management
Build and manage a centralized
Price Desk
to handle all custom pricing requests, discounts, and approvals. Ensure compliance with pricing policies and maintain transparency across Sales and Finance. Establish pricing governance processes, thresholds, and approval workflows. Customer-Level Pricing Oversight
Manage and maintain accurate customer-specific pricing records, terms, and renewal escalators. Work closely with Sales Operations and Account Management to ensure contract pricing aligns with billing and system configurations. Review and approve custom pricing proposals in accordance with margin thresholds and company policies. Billing Audits & Revenue Integrity
Lead regular audits of customer invoices to ensure billing accuracy and adherence to contractual terms. Identify and correct revenue leakage due to pricing errors, system misconfigurations, or billing gaps. Partner with IT and Finance to automate revenue assurance processes and reporting. RFP and Contract Pricing Support
Own the pricing response portion of RFPs and RFIs, collaborating closely with Legal, Sales, and Product. Model financial impact of pricing proposals submitted through RFPs. Ensure accurate translation of proposed pricing into contracts and billing systems post-award. Bachelor's degree
in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 7+ years
of experience in Revenue Operations, Pricing Strategy, or Commercial Finance, preferably in a B2B service industry. Experience in the
background screening or compliance services sector is highly desirable . Proven experience building pricing models and implementing price governance frameworks. Strong financial acumen, with an understanding of margin analysis, customer lifetime value, and revenue forecasting. Experience managing or implementing pricing and CPQ tools (e.g., Salesforce, Conga, PROS, or similar). Exceptional Excel, modeling, and data analytics skills; experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) is a plus. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
