What You'll Do

As a

Parts Outside Sales Associate,

you'll build relationships with customers and drive new business opportunities. You will: Solicit parts business from assigned and new accounts through in-person and phone contact Visit assigned customers and prospect for new ones Communicate orders to the counterperson and advise whether parts are stock or emergency based on customer needs Confirm non-stock delivery dates with customers before ordering Obtain manager approval for special pricing Provide delivery/shipping instructions and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction Coordinate service sales with service team members Maintain accurate customer records and submit required reports Attend training seminars as needed Serve as a professional liaison for the dealership Perform light maintenance on company vehicle (fuel, oil, cleanliness, inspections) Report major repairs/maintenance needs to the parts manager Maintain a professional appearance and work in a team environment Travel across county and state lines as required Adhere to and promote health and safety policies What We're Looking For

1-2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of experience and education required. Bachelor's degree (preferred, not required) Strong customer-service and communication skills Basic computer knowledge Valid Driver's License (must meet company insurability standards) Physical Requirements

Regular walking and standing; occasional sitting, kneeling, crouching, or crawling Frequent lifting of 25-50 lbs; occasional lifting up to 100 lbs Visual abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment Bonus Points For:

Prior parts, automotive, or mechanical experience ASE or Medium/Heavy Truck Parts Specialist Certification
