What You'll Do

As a

Field Service Technician , you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks at customer job sites with efficiency and professionalism. You will: Perform unsupervised repairs and diagnostics in accordance with dealership and factory standards Complete major component repairs and overhauls, including engine, driveline, electrical, and A/C systems Diagnose malfunctions based on inspections and customer concerns Communicate with service and parts departments to coordinate workflow and secure needed parts Save, tag, and track warranty parts; open OEM and vendor diagnostic cases as required Document all repairs and recommendations on work orders with accuracy Road test vehicles and perform inspections for safety or additional service needs Install optional equipment, report defects, and keep customers informed of repair status Maintain greater than 80% productivity and 95% efficiency Keep service truck clean, neat, and safe; wash weekly Assist fellow technicians and participate in ongoing manufacturer training programs Adhere to federal, state, and local safety regulations, including OSHA and hazardous waste handling Maintain dealership-owned tools and work area cleanliness Promote health and safety policies in all work environments What We're Looking For

Vocational/technical school graduate with 5+ years related experience, or equivalent training Strong background in engine and driveline troubleshooting, electrical systems, and A/C repair Ability to overhaul major components and perform advanced diagnostics Strong communication and problem-solving skills Good supply of personal hand tools required Required Certifications & Licenses:

Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications Drive Train Certification for Medium/Heavy Truck HVAC Certification for Medium/Heavy Truck State Vehicle Inspector Certification (Class 7) MX Engine Certification Cummins MD and HD Certification Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B or higher (must meet company insurability standards) Valid Driver's License (must meet company insurability standards) Physical Requirements

Regular standing, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crawling Frequent lifting of 50+ lbs; ability to lift/move more than 100 lbs occasionally Visual abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment Work Environment

Exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and outside weather Occasional work at heights or in loud environments Team-based shop and field setting
