Job Title: Human Resources Administrator
Job Description
The role involves ensuring that the National Attendance Program (NAP), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Medical Leave of Absence (MLOA), and tardiness are managed in compliance with the National Agreement, Company Policy, applicable regulations, Company practice, and Local Contractual Agreement.
Responsibilities
Conduct corrective action discussions for chargeable absences, failure to follow notification processes, and tardiness.
Properly document outcomes of corrective action hearings.
Follow up with line management customers to resolve open NAP and tardiness issues.
Audit NAP and tardiness TWOs coding and correct codes as required.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for line management customers on NAP interpretation.
Maintain all required documentation related to FMLA administration.
Act as a liaison between line management customers and the local medical department.
Serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for employees requesting FMLA and for UNICARE.
Identify opportunities to streamline the current process.
Essential Skills
2 years of experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Human resources knowledge.
Administrative support experience.
Data entry proficiency.
Employee relations skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
6 months of previous experience in a similar Human Resources role is preferred.
1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.66 - $25.00/hr.
