The NPE Intake Analyst serves as the first point of contact for all requests into non-production environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Performance).

This role ensures that requests from delivery teams—including development, IT test, business test, and performance test groups—are properly logged, validated, estimated, and routed to the appropriate functions.

The analyst provides upfront effort, usage, and indicative cost estimates, enabling delivery teams to plan effectively while maintaining transparency through dashboards and SLA tracking.

Key Responsibilities

Request Intake & Validation Act as the single-entry point for all NPE requests from project/product delivery teams. Validate requests for completeness, including scope, approvals, dependencies, and timing. Provide effort, usage, and cost estimates to stakeholders before resource commitment. Categorize and route requests to appropriate owners (Environment Manager, Change Manager, Incident Manager). Coordination & Communication

Maintain dashboards and reports on request pipeline, SLA status, and upcoming allocations. Proactively communicate request progress, blockers, and approvals to requestors. Collaborate with Environment Manager for demand forecasting and scheduling feasibility. Align with Incident Manager on access and service requests. General Project Delivery

Manage end-to-end delivery of projects or modules within agreed scope, cost, and timeline. Identify and engage key stakeholders, ensuring strong business relationships. Define activities, responsibilities, critical milestones, resources, and budgets. Implement governance models, risk management strategies, and contingency plans. Track and report project KPIs such as velocity, schedule vs. actuals, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction. Performance & Quality Management

Conduct requirements analysis, scope control, and prioritization. Drive creation of design documents, traceability matrices, and solution artifacts. Support estimation, resource planning, and risk/issue management. Oversee test and defect management activities, including triage and root cause analysis. Adopt best practices, reusable components, and software delivery methodologies. Governance & Stakeholder Management

Define and implement communication plans. Develop and monitor project quality processes. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on risks, issues, and progress. Team & Organizational Development

Mentor team members and guide testing or technical activities. Contribute to forums, share best practices, and promote knowledge reuse. Encourage skill development, innovation, and independent performance among team members. Required Qualifications

4–6 years of experience in Release, Service Request, or Environment Coordination roles. Experience with Jira dashboards and metrics creation. Familiarity with non-production environments and the SDLC lifecycle. Strong experience with ticketing/ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy). Ability to assess usage patterns and indicative cost implications of NPE requests. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience supporting delivery teams.
