Warehouse Maintenance Technician
(also referred to as a
Maintenance Worker, Facility Technician, Industrial Maintenance Associate, or Warehouse Mechanic ) to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and facility upkeep in a high-volume warehouse environment. This role ensures safe, efficient, and smooth daily operations while supporting the overall success of the team. Key Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, dock doors, conveyor systems, HVAC, lighting). Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain racking systems, fixtures, and building infrastructure. Respond promptly to maintenance requests reported by staff. Assist with painting, light carpentry, organizing, and general upkeep of the warehouse. Monitor and manage inventory of tools and maintenance supplies. Coordinate with outside contractors/vendors for specialized repairs. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company policies. Support warehouse operations as needed (e.g., moving pallets, assisting with setups). Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience in warehouse, facility, or industrial maintenance preferred. Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Skilled in safe use of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently.
