Job Description: Select and gather products for customers' online orders in the most efficient manner with attention to freshness and quality. Assemble customers' online orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars when customers arrive at the store for pickup. Provide a positive customer service experience that makes customers want to return to online shopping. Responsibilities

• Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk / In-Store Grocery Shopper selects and gathers products for customers' online orders with attention to freshness and quality.
• In-Store Grocery Shopper initiates and completes selection process for online orders.
• Online Grocery Pick-Up team assembles online orders, processes coupons and payment, and delivers and loads orders to cars at pickup.
• In-Store Grocery Shopper scans and bags orders while following bagging standards.
• E-Commerce team communicates substitutions or exceptions to customers at pickup.
• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Receive customers' orders from Order Selector and store products in optimal temperature zones.
• Read and follow directions provided in the note section; ensure quality and freshness of all items.
• Communicate with customers via portable phone in a professional and timely manner.
• Retrieve each customer\'s order from staging locations, ensure order accuracy, and load the order into customers\' cars.
• Provide a positive customer service experience that encourages online shopping.
• Process orders through the point of sale (POS) system.
• Follow policies to determine appropriate substitutions for out-of-stock items.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
• Report pricing, scanning, and item-location discrepancies to the e-Commerce supervisor.
• Inspect equipment and notify management of items needing repair.
• Perform required opening and closing procedures.
• Assist in training new e-Commerce team members.
• Meet/exceed productivity standards; work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational manner; act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.

Qualifications

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Ability to work without supervision
• Ability to read shelf tags
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
• Excellent oral/written communication skills

Desired Previous Experience:

• Any experience as a personal shopper or in a production-oriented or warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or experience as a cashier
