IT Field Service Technician - Printer Specialist
Pay Rate: $23/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (some overtime, evenings, weekends, and staggered shifts may apply)
Location: Jacksonville FL 32202 (within 75-mile radius)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Field Service Technician specializing in printer support. This role provides break-fix IT support for multiple clients and locations, requiring strong technical knowledge of Large Format Printers and LaserJet Printers. Candidates must be able to troubleshoot, repair, and support various printer models in a customer-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities Perform break-fix support on Large Format Printers and LaserJet Printers. Perform hardware break/fix and troubleshooting for LaserJet and large format printers. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electronic, and connectivity issues. Replace defective parts (rollers, fusers, boards, etc.) and verify functionality. Perform preventive maintenance and firmware updates as needed. Respond to service calls in the field, traveling to client locations daily. Document service activities, parts used, and resolution details in ticketing system. Provide excellent customer service while ensuring minimal downtime for clients. Participate in the on-call rotation (after ~60 days), covering evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Requirements & Qualifications
Drug and Background screening MVR- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (travel mileage varies by workload). 3+ years of IT field service or printer repair experience. Proven expertise in Large Format Printer break-fix support. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities. Excellent customer service and communication skills Able to work from a bent, crouched, or kneeled position Smartphone with tethering/hot spot capabilities (Reimbursed within Corporate Guidelines) Laptop Basic Hand Tools NOT REQUIRED but a bonus:
CompTIA A+ • OEM Printer Warranty Certifications OEM Laptop/Desktop Warranty Certifications Server experience
