Hospice Compassus
Bucks County Hospice 11th Hour Vigil Volunteer
Hospice Compassus, Phila, Pennsylvania, United States, 19117
Description:
At Compassus Hospice, we believe no one should have to face life’s final moments alone. Our
11th Hour Vigil Volunteers
provide compassionate presence to patients who are nearing the end of life, offering comfort, dignity, and peace during their final hours. Volunteers may sit quietly at the bedside, hold a hand, play soft music, read aloud, or simply provide the gift of presence. This role is especially meaningful for patients who may not have family nearby or whose loved ones need respite during this sacred time. What You’ll Do: Offer a calm, compassionate presence at the bedside of patients in their final hours. Provide comfort through listening, reading, music, or silent companionship. Support families by ensuring their loved one is not alone. Collaborate with the hospice care team to meet emotional and spiritual needs. Volunteer hours are flexible and so rewarding! Contact Stephanie Leister who will be able to provide more information!
