General Summary
As a Warehouse Associate, you will be Picking and/or checking/Packing customer orders. As a Warehouse Associate, you may use a pallet jack (manual / electric) and be familiar with all standard concepts / practices / procedures within this field. The duties of this role will be heavily involved in the shipping process.
Responsibilities
- Ability to meet established productivity and sales goals
- Picking and packing orders from WMS pick tickets using RF Scanners
- Attention to detail required
- Operating pallet jack, equipment such as forklift, and machine reach truck in a safe manner
- Maintaining a safe and clean warehouse.
- General labor
Qualifications
- Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to drive power equipment and become certified in forklift operation.
- Previous experience operating material handling equipment is preferred.
Physical Characteristics
This is a physically demanding job, requiring long periods of walking, standing, bending, carrying, and lifting on a regular basis.
