Nortel Engineer
for a long term contract opportunity to join an established
Healthcare Organization
located in
Hershey, PA
. This position is
remote, but
will require you to be onsite a couple of times a month. The
Nortel Engineer s
hould have experience in CS1000 systems and Avaya platforms to manage, configure, and support enterprise voice infrastructure
Responsibilities of the Nortel Engineer:
Maintain and troubleshoot Nortel CS1000 systems, including programming and administration. Configure and manage Terminal Number Blocks (TNBs) and Directory Service Configuration (DSC). Design, implement, and manage routing within Avaya Session Manager. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure reliable voice network operations. Support upgrades, migrations, and system integrations. Qualification of the Nortel Engineer:
Proven hands-on experience with Nortel CS1000 administration and programming. Strong knowledge of TNBs and DSC within Nortel environments. Experience with Avaya Session Manager routing. Solid understanding of voice network architecture and protocols (VoIP, SIP). Familiarity with Avaya Communication Manager and System Manager (preferred). Avaya certifications such as ACSS or ACIS (a plus). Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. Compensation for the Nortel Engineer:
Hourly Rate: $50.0-$60.0
