About The Position
Urgent Care Physician Assistant Locums - Connecticut, PRN Coverage
PRN urgent care shifts available through March 2026 in Connecticut; no call, outpatient only.
Highlights
- No call, shifts only
- Runs November 2025 to March 2026
- Weekend coverage prioritized, weekdays available
Practice Setting
- Outpatient urgent care clinics across Hartford and nearby counties
- May split days between two close locations
- Treat all ages, including pediatrics
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts: 7a-7p
- Flexible PRN blocks with no long-term commitment
- Must be open to last-minute schedule adjustments
Cases and Procedures
- Bread-and-butter urgent care
- Suturing, wound care, incision and drainage
- Splinting, basic labs, EKGs, X-rays
- No inpatient or hospital coverage
Requirements
- PA or NP with active Connecticut license
- BLS and DEA required
- Urgent care experience with all ages
Travel Accommodations
- Lodging, rental car, and mileage reimbursed
- Airfare not included; local or regional travelers preferred
