About The Position
We are seeking a Board-Certified Cardiologist specializing in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Virginia. This assignment begins on Dec 1, 2025, featuring day shifts Monday through Friday, with a rotating night and weekend call schedule. Candidates must have current ACLS and DEA certifications, be VAD certified, and have completed an AHF fellowship with LVAD experience.

- Schedule: Day shifts, Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts; night and weekend call on a 1:6 rotating basis
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform non-invasive cardiology duties
- Interpret and manage EKGs
- Provide advanced heart failure care, including management of ventricular assist device (VAD) patients
- Support the ongoing recruitment of a permanent physician
- Collaborate with a second physician during the assignment
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and DEA certification required
- VAD certification and AHF fellowship with LVAD experience required
- Must be licensed to practice in Virginia
- Epic EMR experience preferred
