Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced
.Net Web Developer
to support and enhance web applications within the Enterprise section. The role involves full-stack development using
.NET MVC with C# and VB.NET , JavaScript, jQuery, Kendo UI, and backend components such as
SQL Server, DB2, and Oracle . This is a long-term opportunity involving both development and production support responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance .NET MVC applications using
C#, VB.NET ,
Entity Framework ,
JavaScript ,
jQuery , and
Kendo UI Design and develop front-end and server-side components Analyze and document requirements; participate in technical design and code reviews Write SQL queries, stored procedures, and integrate with
SQL Server, DB2, and Oracle Write responsive HTML5 and JavaScript applications using
Bootstrap
and CSS Participate in unit testing, smoke testing, and production support activities Create and maintain technical documentation Follow SDLC standards, coding best practices, and team processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile or hybrid environments Participate in application deployment and work with IIS for hosting and configuration Utilize tools such as
TFS
and
JIRA
for project tracking and version control

.NET MVC with C#, VB.NET 5+ years Full-stack development 5+ years JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Kendo UI 5+ years SQL Server, Stored Procedures 5+ years DB2 and Oracle experience 5+ years HTML5, CSS, responsive UI development 5+ years Requirements analysis and documentation 8+ years SDLC knowledge and project lifecycle 8+ years Production support and troubleshooting 8+ years Authentication/Authorization mechanisms 5+ years Experience with IIS (deployment/configuration) 5+ years Use of TFS and JIR 5+ years Writing clear technical documentation 5+ years Dataflow and structure modeling 2+ years Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in
financial application development Familiarity with
State of Wisconsin systems and development standards Experience with
DCF (Department of Children and Families) programs Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and within a team environment
