Overview of position:

FEDITC is looking for a highly motivated individual either currently working on their bachelors degree or recently graduated. The intern will assist the Security Department on a part time basis.

United States Citizenship is required to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

Security Department Support: Complete required

Industrial Security Training for Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) . Enroll in and complete assigned

IT security training courses

within the

BizLibrary Learning Management System

(Skillsoft). Assist with

security documentation, compliance tracking, and administrative support

for ongoing security projects. Support the team with

special projects

involving security policy implementation, clearance paperwork preparation, and internal security audits. Recruiting Department Support:

On occasion, assist the recruiting team with

special projects , including data entry, candidate tracking, and research tasks as needed. Professional Development:

Gain exposure to

federal security regulations

and best practices. Build foundational skills in

IT security awareness ,

talent acquisition processes , and

government compliance standards . Qualifications

Experience/Skills:

College student or recent graduate Must be able to work daytime hours Education:

High school diploma is required Clearance:

Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check. Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC'S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
