We're seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to contribute to impactful projects across the pharmaceutical, power, and heavy industrial sectors. This is a remote position with occasional travel to client sites as needed.
Your Role:
Design and review electrical systems and drawings. Perform arc flash, short-circuit, and coordination studies. Review specifications and technical calculations. Prepare hazardous area classifications and safety documents. ssemble engineering drawing packages and respond to RFIs. Join project and client meetings as a technical expert. Prepare material lists and evaluate vendor bids. Ensure all designs meet
NEC, IEEE, NFPA, OSHA,
and industry standards. Support scope development, scheduling, and budgeting. Visit sites to assess electrical conditions and safety. What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. 10+ years of experience in pharma, petrochemical, power, or manufacturing. Strong knowledge of electrical design and hazardous area classification. Familiarity with energy codes like Title 24 and WA State Energy Code. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Excellent communication skills. ble to work independently and travel to client sites when needed. Must be able to pass drug screening and obtain TWIC badge. Previous cGMP experience (a plus). Nice-to-Have:
Must have active PE license of state: WA, CA, or MT. Experience with medium/high voltage (35kV-230kV). Familiar with ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower software. Experience in renewable energy (solar, BESS, EV, hydrogen). LEED, WELL, or Fitwel certifications. Background in energy-saving projects and utility upgrades.
