Responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for understanding Orkin’s termite protection services and how to make strategic recommendations to customers. By performing 360 inspections from attics to crawlspaces and everything in between, you’ll solve problems and build trusted relationships to protect homes and families. You’ll listen to needs and clearly explain practical solutions to win over customers with confidence and care.

  • Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
  • Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
  • Serve as an empathetic problem solver by leveraging in‑depth training to recommend the best innovative pest solutions for each customer’s needs.
  • Achieve goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads with a robust advertising budget for leads.
  • Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes to explain how Orkin’s products and services provide peace of mind.
  • Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home and explain findings and next steps.
  • Make recommendations based on inspection findings, address questions, set expectations, and explain the process.
  • Use the provided iPad to prepare sales agreements and stay organized (training provided).

Qualifications

What do you need to be successful?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • No Experience Required!
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid)
  • Ability to work in the field independently and interact with our clients

Work Environment

What will my work environment be like?

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the duties with or without accommodations:

  • Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
  • Wear PPE which may require an OSHA‑compliant respirator
  • Willing to work in different weather conditions
