Responsibilities
Understand Orkin’s termite protection services and how to make strategic recommendations to customers. By performing 360 inspections from attics to crawlspaces and everything in between, you’ll solve problems and build trusted relationships to protect homes and families. You’ll listen to needs and clearly explain practical solutions to win over customers with confidence and care.
What you will do
- Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
- Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
- Serve as an empathetic problem solver by using in‑depth training to recommend the best innovative pest solution for each customer’s needs.
- Achieve goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads—we have a robust advertising budget to provide you with leads.
- Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes, explaining how Orkin’s products and services provide peace of mind.
- Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home—training provided.
- Make recommendations based on inspection findings, address questions, explain the process, and set expectations.
- Use the iPad provided to prepare sales agreements and stay organized—we will provide training on this as well.

Qualifications
What do you need to be successful?
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- No experience required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid)
- Ability to work in the field independently and interact with clients
Work Environment
Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform duties with or without accommodations:
- Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc. including the ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Wear PPE, which may include an OSHA‑compliant respirator
- Willing to work in different weather conditions
