Overview

As an experienced Accountant with hands-on proficiency in Sage 300, responsible for performing full-cycle accounting duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end close processes. Ensured financial accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards while supporting internal audits and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Processed high-volume invoices (50–100 daily) in Sage 300, including vendor setup, 3-way matching, and payment reconciliation


• Managed general ledger entries, accruals, and adjustments for month-end and year-end closing


• Performed bank and account reconciliations for accounts exceeding $50K+


• Prepared and analyzed financial reports, identifying discrepancies and proposing corrective actions


• Collaborated with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice and payment issues


• Processed journal entries, credit/debit memos, and intercompany transfers


• Maintained compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and audit requirements


• Assisted with wire transfers, P-Card transactions, and 1099 preparation


• Supported financial reporting and audit preparation by maintaining accurate records and documentation
