Overview

Our client is seeking an Entry-Level Accountant to help support their organization. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates looking to start their accounting careers in a dynamic, global energy company. Candidates will start on a contract basis with the goal of converting to full-time employment within 60–90 days, based on performance and business need.

Base pay range

$27.00/hr - $30.00/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and transactional processing
• Assist in month-end and quarter-end close processes – must be available for extended hours during this time
• Contribute to internal and external reporting requirements, including S4 support where applicable
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies
• Work collaboratively across accounting teams and with supervisors to meet deadlines

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required (Accounting strongly preferred)
• CPA eligible or on track to meet CPA requirements (e.g., 150 credit hours, 5th year, or MBA candidates)
• Strong academic record (GPA of 3.5+ preferred, but not required if offset by strong interview or experience)
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Proficiency in Excel and basic financial systems; knowledge of SAP/S4 is a plus
