They are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing accounting team. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing month-end close activities, supporting financial compliance, and ensuring accuracy in reporting for leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review accruals, allocations, and prepaid expense schedules
  • Post weekly payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll accounts
  • Maintain and update amortization schedules for short-term and long-term capital and financing leases
  • Assist with monthly close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
  • Support internal and external audits by providing detailed schedules and documentation
  • Prepare reports and financial analyses to support management decision-making
  • Work cross-functionally with other teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within healthcare, medical device, or manufacturing environments
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, month-end close, and reconciliations
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas required)
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Experience with ERP systems preferred
