The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing month-end close activities, supporting financial compliance, and ensuring accuracy in reporting for leadership.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review accruals, allocations, and prepaid expense schedules
- Post weekly payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll accounts
- Maintain and update amortization schedules for short-term and long-term capital and financing leases
- Assist with monthly close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
- Support internal and external audits by providing detailed schedules and documentation
- Prepare reports and financial analyses to support management decision-making
- Work cross-functionally with other teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within healthcare, medical device, or manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of GAAP, month-end close, and reconciliations
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas required)
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Experience with ERP systems preferred
