Overview

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This role will focus heavily on general ledger management and financial reporting while supporting critical accounting processes that impact company performance.

Base pay range $85,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

Senior Accountant Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong general ledger and financial reporting expertise.
• Prior experience with capital expenditures and fixed assets accounting highly preferred.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across departments.

Senior Accountant Responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Oversee journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Support audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with capital expenditure tracking and fixed assets accounting including additions, disposals, and depreciation schedules.
• Contribute to process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
