Overview
We are currently assisting our long-time property management client in their search for a Treasury Accountant. The Treasury Accountant will manage daily financial assets, focusing on cash flow, risk mitigation, and ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations by tracking money, making payments, and maintaining banking relationships. Responsibilities
- Direct daily cash management activities and ensure efficient cash flow.
- Maintain internal controls for treasury systems, account access and documentation.
- Predict future cash positions to make financing decisions and manage liquidity effectively.
- Manage relationships with banks and other financial partners, including negotiating fees and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Evaluate and improve internal control systems
- Prepare financial statements and reports, including cash flow statements and balance sheets.
- Ability to perform additional tasks beyond formal job duties
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2-3 years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial software systems (e.g., Sage Intacct).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Experience in cost control in a multi-revenue stream environment is a plus.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and customer-oriented environment.
