Senior HR Partner
to join our NORAM Health and Pharma Solutions HR Team.
This role will serve as a
strategic advisor, coach, and consultant
to business leaders operating in both unionized and non-unionized settings. You will work closely with leadership to
enhance people management practices ,
foster an inclusive team culture ,
develop a robust talent pipeline , and
support employee growth and development
at every organizational level. This position will primarily be based outside of
Newark, DE , while supporting sites in Lower Gwynedd, PA, and Wilmington, DE. Compensation: The salary range for this role is projected to be between $120,000 and $162,000, plus potential performance-based incentives. Compensation will be influenced by various factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience. Your Responsibilities: Labor & Employee Relations
Lead union-related matters, including contract negotiations and grievance resolutions. Act as the main contact for union representatives to cultivate collaborative relationships. Address employee concerns swiftly to build a trustworthy and cohesive culture.
Organizational Development & Process Improvement
Drive organizational change initiatives, including structural redesign and team systems. Lead continuous improvement projects that enhance performance and engagement.
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure adherence to labor laws and internal company policies. Conduct investigations and respond to complaints effectively. Collaborate with COEs to implement talent strategies that align with business objectives.
Coaching & Leadership Support
Offer guidance on HR policies and employee relations issues. Coach managers to bolster leadership capabilities and promote a positive employee experience.
Talent Development
Identify training needs and coordinate relevant development programs. Encourage career advancement and professional growth opportunities.
Benefits & Payroll Administration
Oversee benefit programs to ensure alignment with union agreements. Manage weekly payroll and labor data reporting for accuracy and compliance.
Performance & Attendance Management
Assist managers with performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and attendance monitoring. Promote consistent and fair performance management practices.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a relevant field. Experience: 5-12 years of progressive HR experience, particularly in labor and employee relations within both unionized and non-unionized environments. Preferred 5+ years in labor relations, including contract negotiations and grievance resolution. Strong knowledge of the National Labor Relations Act and related employment laws. Demonstrated ability to influence and engage diverse teams at varying organizational levels. Experience supporting multi-site operations in complex structures. Familiarity with shared service models; Workday experience is a plus. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on building trust and credibility.
