We focus on creating impactful programs for local communities while partnering with charities in South America, particularly in Peru and Bolivia, to support initiatives like school supplies, sustainable solutions, and mental health workshops. Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Program Coordinator to join our volunteer team. In this role, you will help design and deliver programs that bring our mission to life, both locally and internationally. From organizing community grief walks and beach cleanups to supporting school and orphanage supply drives in Peru and Bolivia, you’ll ensure our initiatives run smoothly and make a difference. This is a perfect opportunity for someone passionate about project management and community impact to contribute to a startup non-profit with global aspirations. Key Responsibilities: Plan and execute local programs, such as mental health workshops, grief walks, or beach cleanups, ensuring alignment with our mission. Coordinate with South American partners (e.g., charities in Peru and Bolivia) to support international initiatives like school supply drives or sustainable community projects. Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for specific programs, providing clear instructions and support. Develop program timelines, budgets (using low/no-cost resources), and logistics, such as virtual event platforms or local venues. Collect and document program outcomes (e.g., participant feedback, photos, or impact metrics) to share with donors and grant applications. Collaborate with the Fundraising and Social Media teams to promote programs and engage communities. Ensure cultural sensitivity and effective communication in international partnerships. Qualifications: Experience in program or event planning, project management, or volunteer coordination (1+ years preferred, but passion and transferable skills welcome). Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks remotely. Passion for education, mental health, and community development, with an interest in international work in South America. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with cultural awareness for diverse teams (bilingual English/Spanish a plus). Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Zoom, or Trello for program management. Ability to work independently and creatively within a startup environment with limited resources.
