Lift Operator - Winter 25/26 Part Time

The
Lift operator
is responsible for safely loading and unloading guests of all ages and abilities using our chairlifts. As a member of the Lift Operations team, the lift operator will provide exceptional service and safety for our guests during their visit.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate multiple Lifts, Gondolas, Tow and Carpets for the guests Follow company/department safety policies and procedures. Able to work independently or in a small group to accomplish daily job-related tasks. Complete pre-operational procedures, and inspections. Assist in snow removal, daily set up and routine maintenance of work areas. Anticipate guests’ needs and provide service above and beyond guest expectations. Remain alert for guests improperly loading and unloading the ski lifts to ensure their safety Assist with completing lift closing procedures. Work with all mountain departments respectfully in assisting and resolving issues that could arise during the operations. Qualifications:
18 years or older, high school diploma or equivalent Able to read, write, speak, and understand English Able to lift 25 pounds and on occasion up to 50 pounds Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and nights when needed. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time. The employee must frequently climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, shovel, rake, or ice chip. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions; extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud Skiing/Snowboarding is a plus but not required Completion of Snowbasin Lift Operations Department training Able to commit the entire winter season
