The Sun Valley Lift Operations team is seeking dependable, guest-focused
Lift Operators
to provide a safe and welcoming experience for guests using our chairlifts at
Dollar
Mountain.
This position plays a vital role in mountain operations and guest service.
Dollar Lift Operators
are responsible for the safe loading and unloading of guests of all ages and abilities while maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of lift stations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow company/department safety policies and procedures. Able to work independently or in a small group to accomplish daily job-related tasks. Complete pre-operational procedures and inspections. Assist in snow removal, daily set up and routine maintenance of work areas. Anticipate guests' needs and provide service above and beyond guest expectations. Remain alert for guests improperly loading and unloading the ski lifts. Assist with completing lift closing procedures. Work with all mountain departments respectfully in assisting and resolving issues that could arise during the operations. Qualifications:
At least 18 years old is required High school diploma or GED certificate Fluent in English Can work in the outdoors and various weather elements (rain, sun, heat, cold, snow, etc.) Skiing or snowboarding ability of intermediate or above is required Available to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays throughout the winter season (6 a.m.) Able to work through the entire winter season Possess strong verbal communication skills and the ability to hear and respond to instructions, inquires, and information Able to safely move objects up to approximately 50 pounds about the workplace. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
