SUMMARY:
Responsible for administrative support and assistance to the Sr. Leave and Benefits Admin regarding the intake and processing of all FMLA, STD, LTD, Military (USERRA), and Personal Leaves. For benefits such as Benefits Enrollment, Qualifying Events, Life Claims, and 401(k) plans. Support the processing time and content-sensitive material in a daily changing environment. Excellent customer service skills required, excellent attitude, and ability to work in a team environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide daily support to the Sr. Leave and Benefits Admin, including preparation of various reports and materials requiring a high level of confidentiality. Assist with manual and electronic leave tracking processes. Assist employees in enrolling in medical, dental, vision, and other insurance plans. Able to collect the necessary documentation to approve employee's dependent(s). Maintain records and files. Answer telephone, screen calls, and take messages. Help answer questions and resolve employees' issues/concerns on insurance plans. Assist employees with life and other related benefit claims. Perform special projects as may be assigned by the HR Benefits and Leave Supervisor and other Executives. Compile internal reports, and revise and update reports as necessary. Identify and timely report problems or deficiencies with recommendations for resolving them. Develop collaborative relationships within and across departmental lines. Complete timely and accurate data entry on all leave applicants in ADP. Assist in the HR area during peak activity times. Assist and provide support prior to/during the annual benefits Open Enrollment. Ensure that the company's benefits policy complies with laws and regulations. Maintains complete confidentiality regarding all information.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; Computer Literate with experience in Excel (ability to download and manipulate data), PowerPoint, and Internet-based web applications; General Office Skills, including but not limited to filing, data entry, the composition of letters, and informational material. Excellent customer service. Ability to work varied schedules if necessary, including periodic Saturdays. ADP experience is a plus.
KNOWLEDGE:
ADP experience preferred. Excellent customer service.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:
None required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must be able to communicate in the English language. Bilingual preferred.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to multitask in a high-paced environment. Ability to use computers and all standard programs used by the industry and learn and effectively use any and all other computer programs that are or will be made available.
