Responsibilities

  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation processes for new hires
  • Maintain accurate job descriptions and organizational charts
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Maintain employee records and HRIS data with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Support audits and reporting requirements as needed
  • Assist with benefits administration (health, dental, vision, 401k, etc.)
  • Coordinate open enrollment and employee benefit inquiries
  • Collaborate with payroll to ensure accuracy of employee compensation data
  • Support the performance review process
  • Assist with training and development initiatives
  • Help develop and implement HR policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
  • 1-3 years of HR experience (generalist or related role)
  • Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices preferred
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite, UKG experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
