Human Resources Manager
Boston, MA (On-Site Monday - Friday)
$115K - $130K Salary Plus Bonus
We are seeking a motivated and versatile Human Resources Manager to take ownership of HR operations at our Boston location. This is the lead HR role on-site, responsible for supporting employees and managers across all aspects of human resources while helping foster a positive, engaging, and compliant workplace culture.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
4+ years of progressive HR experience
Experience in a manufacturing or similar environment
Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices
Experience with HRIS systems, payroll processing, and MS Office (Paylocity experience a plus)
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
SHRM certification preferred
Hands-on, solution-oriented approach with the ability to work independently
Responsibilities:
Partner with leadership on talent management, employee development, and HR best practices
Manage full-cycle recruiting and onboarding to ensure smooth transitions for new hires
Administer HR systems, payroll, and benefits while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Support employee engagement initiatives and assist in developing programs that promote retention and workplace satisfaction
Draft and maintain HR policies, job descriptions, and compensation guidelines using market data and benchmarking
Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on employee relations and conflict resolution
Serve as a trusted point of contact for HR-related questions, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
Promote an inclusive, safe, and respectful workplace environment
