Advertising/Posting Title Field Lab Coordinator

Posting Summary

Serve as Field Lab Coordinator, responsible for supporting the delivery of academic field and laboratory-based courses in the Rubenstein School, including administration and coordination of transportation, space needs, scheduling, supplies and equipment purchases, storage, usage and maintenance. Oversee safety considerations and serve as a liaison between faculty and Risk Management.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Bachelor’s degree in an environmental field with one to three years of related experience in field labs or environmental field work. Working knowledge of field equipment and software applications used to support office functions, and familiarity with Internet resources required. Valid drivers license or ability to obtain.

Desirable Qualifications

Anticipated Pay Range $24 -$28 per hour

Special Conditions Bargaining unit position, A probationary period may be required, Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy, Background Check required for this position
