Chipton-Ross is seeking 3 Test & Evaluation Lab Technicians (Level 3) for a contract opportunity in Berkeley, MO.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): • Minimum of 3+ year experience with fabrication and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems utilizing production industry standards • Minimum of 3+ year working in Engineering Lab Environment or comparable Military experience. • Minimum of 3+ year experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and schematics
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Supports activities to plan, conduct and document tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies. Designs systems, materials, components, software and methodologies to meet customer requirements. Participates in test design and performs routine procurement, fabrication and assembly of components, test fixtures and test systems. Supports the coordination of test requirements and assists in reviewing test methods and capabilities. Facilitates systems integration, fabrication and modification; supports system pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and post test tear-down. Conducts routine tests, analyzes data and documents results. Troubleshoots and recommends resolution of basic laboratory and test-related problems. Works under general supervision.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): • Minimum of 3+ year experience working with Flight Simulation equipment • Minimum of 3+ year experience maintaining computer hardware • Experience with Mil-Spec connector termination • Experience with Mil-Spec Fiber Optic termination and splicing
REQUIRED EDUCATION: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).
WORK HOURS: FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT;7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
