Travel Registered Nurse Assignment Contract Duration:
13 weeks (Start: 10/20/2025 - End: 1/19/2026) Nursing Shift:
Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts per week (08:00 - 17:00) Weekly Hours:
40 Orientation:
16 hours Registered Nurse Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience required Active California Registered Nurse license (valid at time of submission) Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (AHA required) Epic charting experience preferred Ability to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signing Compliance with background policy (disclose any BG hits or DUIs prior to submission) Return staff policy: must be gone 1 year to return as traveler Modules completed during orientation (average 1-5 hours, e-learning) Travelers must meet a 50-mile travel requirement Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities
Perform assessment, planning, treatment, and evaluation during preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases of nursing care Assist physicians during surgery and procedures, functioning in the circulating nurse role Develop and coordinate interdisciplinary care plans considering psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors Promote collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers through effective communication Follow hospital policies, healthcare industry standards, and applicable laws/regulations to ensure high-quality patient care Engage in ongoing professional development and growth
