Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Quality & Materials Technician to join their team. As a Quality & Materials Technician, you will be part of the production support team, ensuring product quality, proper material handling, and compliance with internal and customer standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and adaptability, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title:
Quality & Materials Technician
Location: Elkhart, IN
Pay Range:
$20.00-$22.00 based on experience and qualifications
Shift:
Day shift starting at 7am to 3pm, with possible hours from 5:30am to 5:30pm
What's the Job?
Perform visual, dimensional, and non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections on final products
Conduct BAL testing and maintain documentation in accordance with standard operating procedures
Ensure contract compliance and facilitate final product release
Maintain and calibrate measurement and testing equipment regularly
Assists in production areas such as Coil Prep, Rolling Mill, H.V. Slitter, and Packaging.
Support internal and external audits by providing accurate data and feedback
What's Needed?
High school diploma or equivalent required
1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, or materials handling
Vocational or technical training is a plus
Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
