Our client, a leader in the chemical manufacturing industry, is seeking a Quality Technician to join their team. As a Quality Technician, you will be part of the manufacturing operations supporting process control and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title:
Quality Technician
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Pay Range:
$22.50 per hour
Shift:
Rotating 12 hour shifts - 1 month days, 1 month nights
What's the Job?
Utilize technical equipment to monitor and control chemical manufacturing processes efficiently
Perform analytical testing supporting process control and quality assurance operations
Operate laboratory instrumentation such as gas chromatographs, pH meters, and spectrophotometers
Maintain accurate documentation of testing results and process data
Collaborate with team members to optimize production quality and safety standards
What's Needed?
Basic understanding of gas chromatography gained through previous work experience
Familiarity with laboratory instruments such as pH meters, conductivity meters, and densitometers
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
No prior experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
