Overview: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with hands-on experience in automated packaging systems and manufacturing lines as well as building maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical, electrical and plumbing background, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to preventative maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Requirements: Perform routine and emergency maintenance on automated packaging equipment and manufacturing line machinery. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability. Maintain detailed maintenance records and documentation. Comply with all safety standards and regulations. Any other miscellaneous maintenance tasks including but not limited to: Replacing Lights Shoveling snow Chaperone contractors Painting/cleaning Building repairs Plumbing Travel to perform maintenance on all 3 of our retail buildings Qualifications and Skills: Customer/client focus Communication proficiency Self-starter with a strong work ethic Working knowledge of either HVAC, Electrical, Pneumatics, and their commercial application strongly desired General carpentry skills Fluency in computers and applicable programs Experience with PLC-controlled systems, conveyors, servo motors, electric and pneumatic packaging/production machines. Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices. Working knowledge of Electrical, Pneumatics, and their industrial applications High school diploma or GED required; technical certification in a related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance within an automated manufacturing environment. Proven experience with PLC-controlled systems, conveyors, servo motors, and packaging machines. Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Willingness to work flexible hours, or overtime if necessary. At least 21 years of age Ability to comply with all Cannabis Control Commission regulations Experience working with data and technology systems Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing Ability to build relationships both internally as well as in the community Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information Ability to read, analyze, understand and trouble shoot manuals and schematics Able to manage preventive maintenance, as well as day to day operations of commercial buildings including: Ability to work with and negotiate with vendors Flexibility within multiple work environments Performs preventive maintenance of facility equipment, including HVAC and office equipment
