Manufacturing Engineering Intern
this coming
summer (2026).
We are looking for people who are excited to become part of a team, working hands-on to solve complex problems. This internship will offer you the opportunity to work on a variety of projects within our Assembly team at our Quincy manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
Completing time study analysis on production processes
Improving material presentation and layout for ergonomics and efficiency
Proposing/implementing material routing from unfinished warehousing to finished goods
Participating and contributing among a cross function continuous improvement activities
Gaining and applying principles of Lean Manufacturing to current production
Developing an in-depth understanding of the manufacturing impacts on corporate strategy
Implementing 5S action items
Developing process tracking logs for a multitude of assembly processes
What You’ll Bring
Qualifications:
Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering-related program
Ability to work 40-45 hours per week
Must communicate effectively- written and verbal
Time management- effect use of project prioritization and planning
Is a team player
