Position Summary:

The CRM Business Analyst is responsible for delivering actionable marketing analytics that optimize customer retention, engagement, and promotional strategies within digital gaming. This role focuses on forecasting campaign performance, analyzing promotions, and building dashboards and reports that measure marketing ROI across online casino and sportsbook. The CRM Business Analyst leverages SQL, Tableau/Power BI, and database mining to uncover player insights, improve campaign effectiveness, and support strategic marketing decisions.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities includes but not limited to:

Develops marketing forecasts and models to project campaign outcomes, player retention, and customer behavior

Conducts post-campaign and promotional analysis to evaluate ROI, player lift, and long-term impact on engagement

Mines customer and marketing databases to identify trends in acquisition, conversion, churn, and reactivation

Leverages Tableau/Power BI dashboards to track marketing KPIs, campaign performance, and player lifecycle metrics

Creates and optimizes SQL queries to extract, clean, and analyze campaign and player-level data

Produces recurring and ad hoc reports to inform marketing strategy and budget allocation

Partners with CRM, VIP, and Product teams to optimize promotional effectiveness across online casino and sportsbook

Collaborates closely with the Business Intelligence (BI) team to optimize campaign performance, serving as a strategic bridge between BI and CRM to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with data-driven insights and business objectives

Supports test-and-learn initiatives, including A/B testing and control group design, to validate marketing performance

Presents findings and recommendations in a clear, actionable manner to marketing leadership and stakeholders

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

Works closely with Mohegan Compliance to ensure online policies and procedures are in alinement

Performs other duties, as assigned

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

BA/BS in Marketing Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or related field

1–3 years of experience in marketing analysis, CRM analytics, or campaign measurement

Direct experience in online casino and/or online sportsbook is required

Proficiency in SQL (Snowflake/Teradata/Microsoft Azure) and database management

Strong experience with BI visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI)

Solid knowledge of forecasting methods, promotional analysis, and marketing ROI measurement

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into marketing recommendations

Familiarity with statistical tools (R/Python) is a plus

In lieu of a degree, five plus years of experience in marketing analysis, CRM analytics, or campaign measurement may be considered

Appropriate regulations that pertain to Mohegan Information Systems

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Fast-paced office work environment

Must be able to sit in front of a computer screen for extended periods of time

Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours with occasional travel required
