Position Summary:
This position is responsible for participating in the day-to-day responsibilities and actions of the Count Room Department.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:
Inspects and prepares TITO paper stock for replacement on the casino floor
Assists in the movement and verification of funds and detection of counterfeit currency
Collects and transports all currency acceptor boxes to the Count Rooms
Counts and records contents of the table drop and currency acceptor cash boxes
Scans and opens currency acceptor boxes and opens table games boxes
Loads contents from the table games and currency acceptor boxes into the BPS machine
Operates the BPS machine on a daily basis
Assists the Count Room team in the replenishment and reconciliation of NRT Units
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
Operates the tow motor on the currency drop and the label pro scanner gun
Complies with casino regulatory rules and regulations and casino internal accounting controls
Assists in safeguarding against theft and ensures the security and integrity of all Tribal assets
Minimum Education and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous experience with keyboard/keypad data entry and basic math skills
Must have the ability to read, write and understand English
Competencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to operate BPS machines
Proficiency in the use of an adding machine, ability to generate flawless tapes for submission and accurately count and record currency
Knowledge of U.S. coin and currency and common bundling methods
Training Requirements:
Must obtain a Tow Motor license
Operational knowledge of the BPS machine
Knowledge of the ACSC system
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Must be able stand for extended periods of time with frequent bending, stooping and lifting
Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
Must be able to push a slot ticket cart and an impressments cart
Must be physically able to access, service and operate all required equipment on the casino floor
Must be able to use an “in ear” communication device
Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
