Work Schedule and Shift Premiums
40 hours per week | 2:30pm - 10:30pm 2nd shift premium is $2.00/hour Weekend premium is $2.00/hour Benefits

High school diploma or equivalent required from an accredited institution On-the-job training or prior knowledge of the admitting process preferred Computer skills required Familiarly with medical terminology preferred Must have an excellent command of the English language, together with the ability to communicate with the general public in a courteous manner Required to work rotating weekend and holiday hours Must be able to carry out the timely and efficient handling of admissions and telephone calls Must have a positive attitude and be a team player Responsibilities
Register patients Registration following current process and procedures - demographic verifications, insurance cards, consent for treatment, Advance Directives, POA, MSP Medicare Letter Disbursement of registration paperwork to all departments Pre-Registration Procedure - Type up and call patients to verify demographic/insurance information Insurance Verification - Availity - CPSI - CHAMPS, etc. Cashier Duties - Collection of monies (Up Front Collections, Payment on account), Balance cash drawer Switchboard Duties - Answer calls, forward/transfer calls, paging process, overhead paging, code procedures, surgery schedule, nightly stat reports, maintain an updated on call board on call, Qliq soft Participate in mandatory training, bootcamps, CPSIQ events, Relias Scanning documents Perform other duties as required or assigned Why Hillsdale Hospital
