About the Role
The company is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and qualified Assistant Dean for Workforce Development. In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of instructional and management responsibilities. Your tasks will include supervising nursing program activities, implementing special projects, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
As you collaborate closely with the Dean on program planning, development, and evaluation, you will also maintain a teaching presence in skills labs, simulation labs, and clinical settings. You will have clinical and faculty responsibilities, participate in student advising, and serve on various program committees.
The ideal candidate will possess a valid and active Registered Nursing License, preferably coupled with a master's degree in nursing. A minimum of one year of teaching experience in nursing programs and at least four years of continuous experience as a registered nurse in direct patient care is essential. We are looking for individuals who exhibit strong leadership qualities, outstanding communication skills, and a commitment to fostering diversity in education.
Technological proficiency, along with experience in supervision, planning, and budget preparation, will be key to your success in this role. A collaborative leadership style and the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders are crucial.
