In this pivotal role, you will drive a unique initiative that places nursing education at the forefront of local communities, significantly enhancing both the nursing workforce and community well-being. As Dean, you will oversee a variety of instructional and management responsibilities, including supervising nursing program activities, implementing innovative special projects, and ensuring adherence to all regulatory standards. Key responsibilities will include: Management of faculty and staff Development of curriculum that aligns with industry standards Serving as a strong advocate for students Maintaining on-site student records efficiently Collaboration with HR for recruitment and admissions Overseeing nursing core orientation for new students To be considered for the Dean position, applicants must possess a current and valid California Registered Nursing License or an equivalent license in the respective state of the Workforce Development site. A master’s degree or higher in nursing, education, or administration is required, accompanied by at least one year of teaching experience in either pre-licensure or post-licensure nursing programs and a year of continuous practice as a registered nurse offering direct patient care. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to fostering diversity within the nursing field. Proficiency in technology and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with diverse teams are essential.
