The Shift Supervisor, reporting to the Production Execution Manager, supervises the work activities of shift Production Technicians. The primary focus of the Shift Supervisor is to lead the shift team to maintain a safe, compliant, and reliable unit operations that delivers the needs of the business.
During your 12 hour rotating shift as a Shift Supervisor, you will...
Lead and supervise shift workers, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, quality, production, and cleanliness standards.
Direct team response during incidents or emergencies, serving as incident commander as needed.
Support Management of Change process and incident investigations.
Adjust equipment and processes based on performance indicators and lab data, implementing corrective actions.
Ensure procedures are followed, regularly updated, and support ongoing improvements.
Provide feedback to shift teams and conduct annual performance reviews.
Identify skill gaps, lead training and assessments, and communicate needs to learning teams.
Manage plant performance, oversee task completion, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor inventories, coordinate maintenance with the Maintenance Coordinator, and document operational records.
Control environmental equipment for compliance and complete special assignments as required.
If you have...
Minimun High School Diploma or GED
Between eight (8) and ten (10) years' experience in Operations of a Chemical Plant and Plant Operations
Strong leadership skills to direct technicians to produce quality chemicals in a safe and cost-effective manner.
