Leading the Quality Management Systems for CM, ensuring compliance with ISO-9001, RCMS, FSMA, and BASF global quality standards.
Driving end-to-end ownership of Non-Conformance Management (NCM), including intake, investigation, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and timely resolution, with a goal of reducing closure times.
Implementing continuous improvement strategies by analyzing KPIs (e.g., Cost of Poor Quality, off-spec production, rework rates) and driving projects that improve profitability and reduce recurring quality issues.
Providing technical expertise in CM chemistry applications (e.g., MDI, TDI, polyamides), supporting product utilization, customer certifications, import/export approvals, and troubleshooting.
Coordinating cross-functional quality ownership by aligning with Supply Chain, Operations, technical, and commercial teams to ensure consistent processes and reliable customer outcomes. Additionally, you will act as CM's representative to BASF Global and RegionalQuality Councils, ensuring alignment of initiatives and consistency of best practices.
Leading customer and supplier quality interactions, including audits, questionnaires, escalations, and certifications, to strengthen relationships and ensure compliance.
If you...
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related technical field.
Bring 10+ years of experience in the Chemical industry or related industries (e.g. Oil/Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery) with 5+ years in the capacity of Quality Management
Possess strong hands-on expertise in Quality Management Systems (ISO-9001, RCMS, FSMA, and other quality standards), demonstrated by experience leading certification and surveillance audits, sustaining compliance across chemical manufacturing operations, managing corrective and preventative action processes, and driving measurable improvements in product quality, regulatory adherence, and operational efficiency.
Are Lean Six Sigma certified (preferred)
Have experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing NCM processes, and driving measurable process improvements.
Demonstrate strong problem-solving, project management, and analytical skills, as well as excellent at stakeholder engagement, influencing, and building collaboration across functions and sites.
