The role you'll contribute:
The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients as medically prescribed, in a professional manner and within hospital standards, adhering to the corporate compliance plan and all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies, and accrediting bodies.

Participates in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities and supports departmental quality standards and initiatives.
Meets productivity standards as defined by the department.
Oversees the care provided by physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides, according to established regulations and practice standards
Adjusts and adapts to changes in patient census by altering working hours and assisting in other centers or programs as needed.
Practices principles of employee and patient safety in daily job activities.
Maintains clinical competencies through professional development, best practices, and serving as a clinical instructor.
Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards.
Discharges patients when maximum benefit is achieved or according to standards of practice and payer guidelines.
Establishes, implements, and adapts individualized treatment plans, including goal setting, treatment activities, and frequency.
Other duties as assigned.
Identifies the need for patient and caregiver education and utilizes opportunities for teaching, including discharge recommendations.
Documents accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology.
Charges patients accurately, timely, and legibly.
Qualifications
The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed
:
Doctorate Preferred
One or more years of Work Experience Preferred
Entry level professional competency of Physical Therapy practices, theory, principles and applications as defined in competencies departmental policy
Basic computer skills to include Outlook, Microsoft Office and Windows
Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Required and
Physical Therapist (PT) License Required
