Description
The City of Aiken is seeking a Utilities Worker to join the Engineering & Utilities Department. This position performs ongoing service maintenance activities for the upkeep of the City's waste water utility infrastructure system. Examples of Duties
Operates Jet Truck with sewer clean outs Repairs water and sewer lines Installs water and sewer lines Makes water and sewer taps Willing to work evenings and some weekends Minimum Qualifications
Ability to read and write, understand, and follow verbal instructions Must have a valid driver's license in good standing Physical Requirements
Exposure to outside elements Frequent stooping, kneeling, walking, and lifting Supplemental Information
This position is subject to a criminal background check for any convictions directly related to its duties and responsibilities.
