We are seeking an experienced Shipbuilding Electrical Engineering Manager to lead our electrical engineering and commissioning teams. In this critical role, you will oversee the design, integration, and operation of complex vessel electrical systems, ensuring projects meet industry standards and client specifications. Electrical Engineering Manager Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop the electrical engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Manage the design, integration, and installation of vessel electrical systems, including power distribution, drives, transformers, control systems, and monitoring devices. Review and approve electrical design drawings, schematics, vendor packages, and specifications to ensure quality and compliance. Collaborate with production, commissioning, and quality teams to ensure electrical systems are properly installed, tested, and documented. Develop project strategies, build schedules, and technical procedures to optimize efficiency and safety. Ensure all electrical designs comply with applicable industry standards and regulations. Lead initiatives to implement best practices, improve existing processes, and adopt innovative electrical solutions. Manage departmental budgets, staffing, and resource allocation to support project delivery. Electrical Engineering Manager Position Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Marine Engineering (BSEE or equivalent). 10-15 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering within shipbuilding, maritime, or related heavy industry sectors. Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams and projects. Expertise with electrical design software such as AutoCAD, ShipConstructor, and related tools. Strong knowledge of vessel electrical systems, including AC drives, motors, transformers, alarm systems, and bridge/control systems. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across teams. Electrical Engineering Manager Preferred Position Requirements

Experience with offshore or defense vessel projects. Familiarity with automation, control systems, and emerging marine electrical technologies. Additional certifications or specialized training in marine or electrical engineering. Ability to travel as required for project needs. Industry certifications and knowledge of safety and regulatory standards. A proactive approach focused on safety, quality, and innovative problem solving.
