Hybrid Estimator / Sales Support
Location: New York, NY (NYC Market)
Compensation: $85K - $100K (Negotiable) + Bonus

Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Important : Candidates must have direct experience in the glazing, glass, or film industry. This role is remote, but candidates must be able to easily commute to NYC for client meetings.
Overview The Hybrid Estimator / Sales Support Specialist will act as a key connection between estimating, project operations, and field sales. This individual will use their commercial glazing knowledge to deliver accurate takeoffs, estimates, and technical sales support while assisting sales representatives in growing business throughout NYC and the Northeast market.
Responsibilities
Estimating and Technical Support
Prepare accurate estimates, takeoffs, and proposals for commercial glazing, film, and graphics projects Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to ensure accuracy and competitiveness Collaborate with project management and installation teams to align estimates with execution Provide glazing and film expertise during customer meetings Sales Support and Growth
Partner with sales reps to develop proposals, presentations, and customer-facing materials Attend client meetings to provide technical expertise and build trust Identify new bid opportunities and assist with prospecting new clients Maintain CRM data to ensure pipeline accuracy and forecasting Support regional growth strategies across the Northeast Field Operations Support
Conduct occasional site visits for scope verification and project walk-throughs Coordinate between sales and installation teams to ensure smooth execution Support quality control by aligning estimates with field capabilities Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience as an Estimator in a commercial glazing, glass, or film company Strong understanding of glazing systems, window film, and/or architectural graphics Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and bid documentation Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to clients Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) preferred Compensation and Benefits
Base Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 (depending on experience) Lower range for junior estimators transitioning into sales support Higher range for senior estimators with direct glazing or film experience and customer-facing skills Performance bonus based on sales growth and project wins Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off, and career advancement opportunities Why This Role
