Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Compliance Specialist to ensure regulatory compliance and maximize rent revenue across affordable housing communities. This position serves as the critical link between the organization and public housing authorities to optimize subsidy programs and secure funding opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as primary liaison with housing authorities and subsidy program administrators Build strategic relationships to prioritize funding opportunities and voucher distributions Maximize voucher-based rental income through rent negotiations and subsidy program leverage Manage HCV rent increase requests and contract renegotiations Maintain compliance records and collaborate with property teams on lease-up strategies Ensure adherence to HUD/LIHTC guidelines and company procedures Required Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred 3+ years mandatory experience
in affordable housing compliance or public housing agency liaison work Deep understanding of HUD regulations, Section 8/HCV, PBV, and ACC contract administration Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Yardi property management software Preferred Certifications
Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) Housing Choice Voucher Specialist (HCVS) Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) Fair Housing Certification What The Company Offers
